Soothing & Moisturizing Lotion with Montanov 68
Montanov 68 creates light, easily absorbed lotions suitable for hand, body, or facial products. In this recipe, olive squalane and evening primrose oil combine to create a light, non-greasy feeling lotion that sinks into skin quickly, but leaves behind a thin occlusive layer to reduce transepidermal water loss. dl-Panthenol helps improve the appearance of skin tone and texture, and sodium lactate behaves as a humectant, drawing water from the atmosphere to the skin to offer hydration. Calendula extract is an anti-inflammatory that offers non-oil moisturizing and soothing properties. This recipe offers an elegant, silky, light lotion that would work well as a body or facial moisturizer.
