Genistein and Aloe Lotion

Genistein is a potent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient as well as a collagen producer.  It may prove useful in post sun care products as it interrupts the UV signaling cascade that leads to photoaging and reduces oxidative stress. Studies show it may be also effective in the treatment of cellulite.  Here we present a very simple, easy to create lotion featuring Genistein and Syn-Coll, a potent collagen promoting peptide, as its primary cosmetic actives. Aloe Vera Juice 1X is added for its anti-inflammatory effects.

Formula

1. Combine Distilled Water and Genistein in Phase A. Then add balance of ingredients, mixing until uniform.

2. Add Phase B Sepiplus 400 to Phase A and mix until smooth.

3. Add Phase C Fragrance, if desired.

Makes approximately 500 grams (16.66 ounces) of lotion.
