Porcelain Dish

Our Porcelain Dishes have fully glazed interior surfaces and can withstand temperatures up to 1050°C (1922°F).  Unlike the unglazed surfaces of our mortar and pestles used for grinding materials, these bowls have a smooth interior finish making them ideal for mixing small amounts of materials in the lab.  Use our flexible Corning Lab Spatulas for fast mixing and efficient scraping of materials from the rounded bottom of the vessel.  Traditionally known as Porcelain Evaporating Dishes, we're sure you'll find these very handy for mixing all sorts of materials.

These evaporating dishes are flameproof, microwave, oven and diswasher safe. Fully glazed on the inside surface, the exterior is glazed 13mm (1/2") down from the rim.

We offer them in two sizes:

• 50ml  -  70mm diameter (2 3/4") with a capacity of 50ml (1.76 oz)
• 125ml  -  98mm diameter (3 3/4")  with a capacity of 125ml (4.40 oz)
