LCPeptide™ KGF, or Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF), is a bioengineered protein used in high-end cosmetics to stimulate skin cell growth, tissue repair and development in skin and hair follicles. KGF acts as a signal to stimulate proliferation, differentiation, and skin re-epithelialization imparting benefits like increased hair thickness/quantity, wound healing and reduced signs of aging.
KGF should not be used on cancerous or psoriasis-affected skin as it can promote cell proliferation.

Formulation Guide
Add to the water phase if cold-processing or during the cool-down phase, after the emulsion has formed and cooled to 40°C or lower, if hot-processing. Add with light mixing, avoid high-shear mixing. Avoid extremes of pH and alcohols.
Recommended Usage Rate: 0.25% for daily anti-aging & post exfoliation recovery
Appearance: Colorless aqueous solution, may be speckled with white powder which may settle
Solubility: Water-soluble
KGF Concentration: 0.016% (160mg/kg) in ammonium sulfate buffer
