LCPeptide™ EGF, or Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), is a bioengineered protein used in high-end cosmetics to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and hyperpigmentation by signaling skin cells to repair and regenerate, which boosts generation of collagen and hyaluronan. LCPeptide™ EGF also promotes skin regeneration and wound healing through expediting cell turnover.
EGF should not be used on cancerous or psoriasis-affected skin as it can promote cell proliferation.

Formulation Guide
Add directly to the water phase if cold-processing or during cool-down after the emulsion has formed and cooled to less than 40ºC, if hot-processing. Add with light mixing, avoid high-shear mixing. Deactivated by acidic environments; not compatible with acids. Avoid extremes of pH and alcohols.
Recommended Usage Rate: 0.25% for daily anti-aging; post exfoliation recovery
Appearance: Colorless aqueous solution, may be speckled with white powder which may settle
Solubility: Water-soluble
EGF Concentration: 0.016% (160mg/kg) in ammonium sulfate buffer
