Vitamin A or Retinol has long been a wonder ingredient for aging skin but it brings side effects such as excessive inflammation, redness, flaking skin, burning, and itching. Aside from this, Retinol is historically unstable and difficult to formulate with. LinoRet-AF, featuring Retinoid F® technology, is a retinol derivative that de-esterifies in the skin to retinol and linoleic acid offering two actives in one. LinoRet-AF offers anti-aging and brightening benefits without the irritation or dehydrating effect of Retinol.

California Prop 65 Statement: The following statement is made in order to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. Retinol is listed as a chemical that can cause reproductive developmental toxicity when used at levels exceeding 10,000 IU/day (8,000 IU/day during pregnancy. See LinoRet-AF dosage chart here. This product does not contain any other intentional added chemicals listed.
LinoRet-AF is oil-soluble and should be added to the oil phase. The recommended pH range is below 6.0. Heat is not necessary, but LinoRet-AF can tolerate heat up to 80°C for up to 5 hours. It is recommended to add tocopherol (antioxidant) at 0.10-0.50% to the oil phase to achieve best results.
Recommended Usage Rate: 1-20%, globally compliant use level at 5.75%
