Argireline® YOUth peptide is an oil-soluble version of the well-known Argireline® peptide, thanks to the LipoClear™ inverse micelle delivery system. Argireline® YOUth peptide shows efficacy against the areas of greatest concern among young generations, helping to prevent the emergence of future expression wrinkles. It is recommended for oil-based and makeup applications.
For over 20 years, the original Argireline® peptide has been the go-to ingredient for those looking to smooth out wrinkles and now, the new Argireline® YOUth peptide can be expanded to new applications, including oil-based skincare, especially transparent serums, oils and sticks. This is thanks to the patented LipoClear™ inverse micelle delivery system developed by Lubrizol's Life Science Beauty, which allows for the creation of an oil soluble active ingredient.
According to ISO 16128 standards Argireline YOUth peptide contains 70.1% natural origin content.
Lubrizol's Life Science Beauty asked young consumers about their main skin concerns and types of products used most in their daily skin care routine and was able to validate that Argireline® YOUth peptide shows remarkable efficacy in the greatest areas of concern among younger adults by testing among this group using their preferred products. Volunteers of Caucasian and Latin American descent between the ages of 19 and 35 were given a makeup foundation with 2% Argireline® YOUth peptide to apply daily. Volunteers of Asian descent between the ages of 25 and 40 were given an oil serum with 0.8% Argireline® YOUth peptide to apply daily.
Results of the in vivo efficacy testing of Argireline® YOUth peptide include:
- Minimized appearance of expression lines, without compromising the smile expression.
- Shorter and less visible wrinkles around the eyes.
- Smoother skin around the eyes and in the nasolabial and forehead regions.
- Minimized appearance of “tech neck” lines.

Formulation Guide
When preparing an emulsion, it can be added to the oil phase and heated (max. 80 ºC for 4 hours) before the emulsion is formed, but it is recommended to add it at the end of the process after emulsion is formed. Incompatibilities not expected.

Appearance: clear to translucent light-yellow oil
Solubility: Soluble in oils, esters, alkanes and vitamins. Insoluble in water and silicones.

Storage: Argireline® YOUth peptide should be stored in a clean, cool and dark place. Avoid extreme environmental conditions.
