L-PDRN First™ is a solution of low molecular weight, vegan PDRN derived from Lactobacillus rhamnosus fermentation that aids in the growth of new skin cells and barrier repair. These DNA fragments have been clinically shown to stimulate collagen-producing cells (fibroblasts) and to boost tissue repair (Shin et al., 2023). PDRN is one of the most in-demand ingredients used in K-beauty formulations as it promotes the "glass skin" effect or a dewy appearance. 

PDRN activates A2A adenosine receptors, which regulate anti-inflammatory responses, promote cell growth and stimulate new blood vessel formation. This improves oxygen and nutrient delivery to the skin, which is key for skin longevity. L-PDRN First™ has enhanced topical absorption due to its < 100bp size compared to salmon PDRN, which is typically 200-800bp. It is identical in performance to traditional PDRN in both safety and efficacy and considered an eco-friendly, sustainable alternative to salmon PDRN.

Formulation Guide

Incorporation: L-PDRN First™ should be incorporated into the water phase in a cold-process system. If hot-processing, add below 45°C, during the cooling phase after emulsification.

Recommended Use Level:  2%
Heat Sensitivity: Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures to maintain ingredient performance.
pH Range: 4.0 – 8.0
Solubility: Water-soluble

Formulation types: Suitable for a wide range of skincare formulations, including serums, creams, toners, and gels
