TECA 95% (or Titrated Extract Centella Asiatica) is a purified centella extract, composed of Asiaticoside, Asiatic acid and Madecassic acid- compounds that are useful in both hair and skincare applications. TECA 95% is a skin conditioning agent that aids in skin barrier repair through stimulating collagen synthesis, increased micro-circulation and reduced fluid retention. TECA 95% is appropriate for reduction of stretch marks, speeding the healing of acne blemishes and reducing scarring, as well as activating the transition from telogen to anagen phase to induce hair growth.

Formulation Guide
TECA 95% should be pre-dissolved in a compatible glycol or alcohol solvent before adding it to a formulation. TECA 95% is not particulary heat sensitive. Avoid highly acidic or alkaline conditions.
Suggested Use Rate: 0.1 - 0.5%
Appearance: White to light yellow fine powder
Recommended pH Range: 4.0 - 6.5
Solubility: Readily soluble in alcohol, soluble in glycols with heating up to 80°C (often 1:15 ratio)
